Viktor Shvaiko, a Russian artist, beckons the viewer into the open doors
and narrow alleyways. There may be a glowing fire or a drink
poured, but as we peer inside much remains obscured. The rest of
what we see is reflection and our imagination hastens to fill in the
scene.
